I have periods of decreased activity and apathy, and I'm occasionally prone to pessimism.

Why I decided to
become a donor?
I enjoy being a donor. I've been donating blood since I was 18 and am on the bone marrow donor registry. I also donated eggs before. I'm in good health and have no hereditary diseases, so I can help others without any harm to myself. It's a way to express my social responsibility, to do something concrete and tangibly useful. And, in general, I regularly engage in various types of volunteer work.
Curiosity also plays a role; I'm interested in many things related to medicine. And I don't deny that it's an opportunity to combine helping with financial reward.
Another key incentive is that I view donating as a form of self-care. Regular checkups, the opportunity to monitor my physical condition, and an incentive to lead a healthy lifestyle.
